St Marys College Rathmines, Dublin 6 – 4G playing/training pitch permitted permission

4G PLAYING/TRAINING PITCH

R W Nowlan & Associates, Planning & Property are delighted to have secured a Notification Grant of Permission for a new 4G playing/training pitch that will comprise of a 60mm pile 4G artificial grass carpet pit, with flood lighting that will comprise of 6 no. 12m high masts at St Mary’s College, Rathmines Road Lower, Dublin 6.

The scheme provided many challenges during the planning application stages including, the pitches proximity to the protected structures, integration and retention of trees along the southern boundary fronting the Rathmines Road Lower.  The permitted scheme has provided for the integration of the pitch into the existing environment with minimal impact on the surrounding area. This was achieved by way of the retention of existing boundary trees and additional planting where required.

The development will have a very positive impact for St Mary’s College, the wider community and the urban environment of Rathmines.
